Don’t worry! Interviews and assessments are not formal tests.

What to expect at an assessment

We will check your level of English, Maths and Digital Skills. This will let you understand your skill level and help you choose the right course. We can also talk about support to help you to succeed.

Assessments take place at our learning centres or on-line on a variety of days and times. They typically take 1 to 2 hours.

When taking an assessment ensure you:

• Arrive on time and without children (they might distract you and others).
• Bring any certificates with you for courses you have previously studied.
