AAT Apprenticeship

After struggling to return to work, I decided to retrain in finance, enrolling in AAT courses at Waltham Forest Adult Learning Service. Despite personal challenges, including a child's hospitalisation, I progressed through Level 1 and 2 courses. With support from staff and classmates, I persevered and applied for an AAT Apprenticeship with Waltham Forest Council. I now work for the council and am continuing my studies, aiming to become a qualified accountant.

AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting

After completing AAT Level 2, I’m now studying for the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. It was challenging to return to learning after a long break, but the support from my college has been invaluable. The course is well-structured with experienced teachers, and the friendly class environment makes learning even more engaging. I’m aiming to complete all AAT levels and secure a good job in accountancy, and I’m putting in the effort by studying 3 to 4 hours a day, five days a week.
