We offers job skills training workshops and clubs, providing courses for recognised qualifications and career development. These programs aim to enhance skills, boost confidence, and increase chances of success in the desired field. Our Job Club provides practical assistance to job seekers by offering workshops designed to identify strengths and develop clear action plans to achieve their employment goals.

What we offer

  • Creating or updating your CV and cover letter
  • Preparing for interviews and enhancing your presentation skills
  • Identifying job openings and suitable opportunities within the borough
  • Showcasing and promoting your skills effectively

You can attend up to three sessions, which can be booked in advance.

Passport to Work

The Passport to Work programme can lead directly to employment or enable you to gain skills for future employment.

This high-quality bespoke training programme has been created to be flexible and adaptable while providing tailored support, so you stand the best possible chance of securing employment within the current labour market. This programme is aimed at Waltham Forest residents who are currently unemployed or have been made redundant and are seeking to update their skill set to find employment. You can gain a qualification in Digital Skills as well gaining practical employability skills on completion of the programme. You will also gain hands on work experience.

  • Digital skills, interview skills, customer service, teamwork and how to set goals.
  • Practical skills on a work placement.
  • Complete an individual programme based on your needs.
  • Have the opportunity to complete work experience.
  • Get access to full and part-time vacancies.
  • Receive support from your own dedicated employment adviser.
  • Receive one-to-one coaching.
