Job Club – Now a Drop‑In Session

Discover your pathway to a better job at Waltham Forest’s free Job Club. If you’re looking for work and need support, our friendly team is here to help with practical advice and guidance. Whether you’re updating your CV, preparing for interviews or exploring job‑related courses, we can support you to build skills and move closer to employment. If you need more tailored help, we can arrange a follow‑up one‑to‑one appointment after your first drop‑in visit so the tutor can understand your needs and offer the right support.

Important Information for Learners

To help us support you quickly and effectively during your Job Club session, please come prepared with:

  1. Your CV in an accessible format
Bring your CV in a format that can be opened on a PC such as a Word document (.doc or .docx). You can bring it on a USB stick or access it via your email, OneDrive, Google Drive or similar cloud storage (as long as you can log in on a computer). Please note: we cannot download or edit CVs that can only be accessed on a mobile phone.
  2. Your email login details
Please make sure you know your email password so you can access your CV and other documents during the session. If you are unable to log in, we may not be able to support you fully.
  3. Tutor support
Our tutors can guide you with improving your CV, job applications and employability skills, but they cannot complete your CV for you. To make the best use of your session, please arrive prepared and ready to work on your own documents.
