Waltham Forest Adult Learning Service offers a variety of childcare courses ranging from taster workshops to level 3 qualifications. Our expert staff have a wealth of experience in the industry and you will gain practical skills by working closely with local childcare providers. We aim to equip you with the knowledge and abilities to deliver a first-class service as well as enable you to progress onto supervisory and management levels.

If you’re on a low wage or receiving certain benefits you may qualify for a 100% or 70% concession. Contact us to find out if you are eligible.

Before joining one of our Childcare courses, you will need to complete a short assessment to make sure the course is suitable for you.
You should have good basic skills in English literacy, good communication skills, as well as good numeracy skills.
